Posted By: Warfield Recreation |
Location: Warfield Community Hall |
Event Details:
The next session of Yoga with Kerry, will soon begin.
It is never too late to start!!
Vinyasa flow Yoga is a fluid style of Yoga that connects body, breath and mind. This style of Yoga focusses on intelligently designed sequence of poses using proper technique and alignment to help increase strength, flexibility, posture, core strength, coordination, balance, and overall relaxation. Learn breathing techniques (pranayama) and yoga poses (asana) to help increase overall health while decreasing stress and tension.
Each class will be themed based, focussing on opening and releasing tension in areas such as shoulders, hips, and lower back. Each class will have a peak pose which we will warm up to and then cool down after. In this way we can effectively warm our bodies up for the asana poses and prepare ourselves physically and mentally for the practice. This style of Yoga will allow you the space to focus deeply on your practice and allow you to move into your poses with ease and steadyness.
Each class will include:
Centering, Sun Salutations, Standing and Seated series, and Finishing poses including Restorative Yoga for renewed health and energy.
