After many meetings and separate public consultations in each municipality, Trail, Warfield and Rossland were able to officially break ground on the Pedestrian Pipe Bridge. This was a shining example of how regional collaboration should look as each community dedicated so much time and energy into ensuring that four years of work by previous councils on the pipeline project was not lost.
With a time sensitive issue, the partners were capable of arranging public consultations and special council meetings to ensure that we could proceed with the ground breaking on the bridge this year.
