The Village of Warfield has lowered it’s flag to half mast to honour Ed Conroy who died Friday, June 26. He served as the MLA for Rossland-Trail from 1991 to 2001.
“On behalf of the Village of Warfield I want to express our condolences to Katrine Conroy, our provincial MLA for Kootenay West and Minister of Children and Family Development, and to her family. Our area has lost an amazing community leader, husband, father and grandfather” said Mayor Diane Langman. “Our thoughts go out to all those who knew and loved Ed Conroy as we know he will be missed by so many.”
