Any person or organization wishing to be placed on an Agenda to address Council may apply by delivering this request to the Corporate Officer at the Village Office before noon on the Tuesday prior to the scheduled meeting. Meetings are scheduled for the second Monday of the month at 4:00PM in Council Chambers.
Council may deem the delegation topic more appropriate for a future Public Hearing if one is scheduled addressing the same topic. The Corporate Officer may schedule delegates to another Council meeting or advisory body or another committee meeting, as deemed appropriate to the subject matter of the delegation. The Corporate Officer may refuse to place a delegation on the Agenda if the issue is considered to not fall within the jurisdiction of Council, if the matter has already been considered by Council, or if the matter is not on the Agenda.
A delegation is limited to 5 minutes, unless there is a unanimous vote by all Council members present.
